As your elected officials, we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation.
Following the lead of President Trump and Governor Wolf, we have declared a state of emergency in the Borough of Lemoyne.
We are in compliance with all mandated protocol. We have taken steps to cancel all public meetings and have closed the borough office, providing for staff to be available by phone and email.
At this time of year, we would typically be in the process of opening and tidying up our borough parks for the enjoyment of all. However, after much consideration, I have made the difficult decision to maintain closure of all borough parks until further notice.
Please know that it is the health and welfare of our citizens that is our primary concern. These measures are being implemented in the hope that, in the long run they will benefit all.
As we face unprecedented circumstances, please keep in mind that it is not “us “ and “them”. It is all of us, in this together; just at least six feet apart….
