You can't beat the view of the Harrisburg Skyline from Negley Park! Great for photos and the two pavilions are available for picnics, reunions and special events.

Parks

Speaking of parks, there are 8 of them to enjoy not counting the community pool: (Maple, Memorial, Negley, Schell, Frazer, Flynn, Negley, Woodside, and Fort Couch).  At most of the parks there is equipment for children to play on, basketball courts, tennis and pickleball courts (Negley only), softball diamonds and picnic tables to enable you to have your picnic in the fresh air! Bike-Share bikes are available for short-term rental at the pool.

Restaurant Fare

Many restaurants are scattered across Lemoyne. What kind of foods tempt you? We have: Farm to Table, Japanese, Indian, Shushi, Mexican, Korean, both local and franchise Pizza, Chinese, Italian Ice, Family Style, BBQ, Fast Food and Baked Goods at the Farmer's Market (on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays).

Annual Events

Enjoy the Concert at Negley (The Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra plays a live concert 'en plein air' on an evening close to the July Fourth Holiday.) Bring a blanket, folding chairs, a picnic supper and enjoy beautiful music into the evening).

In the fall, watch for "Smoke in the Park", a BBQ competition drawing contestants from all over the United States. Growing every year, come and meet some master BBQ’rs and enjoy the music and eats available in this two-day competition.

The Lemoyne Passage Mural

This 440 foot long mural depicts Lemoyne's history from an early Susquehannock Indian settlement, through the Civil War and into modern times.It is only visible from the Lemoyne exit ramp off I-83 (south). More about the mural is available at the  borough office (510 Herman Avenue).

The West Shore Farmer's Market

One of the oldest farmer's markets in the country, the market house (rebuilt after a fire in 1999) on Market Street contains two floors of dozens of vendors. You're sure to find fresh produce, meats, poultry, fish, candy, baked treats, coffee as well as ready-to-eat take-home meals on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Prepared foods are also available for breakfast and lunch. Second floor vendors are open 6 days a week for your shopping pleasure.

The Antique Marketplace

If you love nostalgia, you will love the Antiques Marketplace on Bosler Avenue. Over 200 Antique vendors are under one roof! Antiques, furniture, coins, jewelry, collectibles, signs, glassware, home decor, vintage items, re-purposed items are all there for you to find and take home as a memento of your visit to Lemoyne.
