Sue Yenchko

Sue Yenchko, a native of Hazleton PA, has lived in Lemoyne for 27 years. During her 45 year career in Government Relations on local, state and federal levels, Sue worked on state environmental policy development and long-range planning issues. She worked for two Fortune 500 companies, a public utility, a state-wide business trade association and with the state legislature’s Consumer Protection Committee.

Sue has also been active in service to the state and the community. She chaired the Pennsylvania Commission for Women, served on the several boards including the Nature Conservancy, the Central PA Youth Ballet, Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, and was a Board Trustee for Susquehanna University. Sue was instrumental in the formation of the Harrisburg Young Professionals, and she spent many volunteer years working with the Borough on the comprehensive plan, streetscape improvements and the Lemoyne Passage Mural found on the southbound Lemoyne exit ramp from I-83.

A graduate of Susquehanna University, Sue earned an MBA degree from Mt. St. Mary’s University.
