  1. Administration
    1. Motion to appoint Kasha Griva to the position of MS4 Coordinator at an annual salary of $50,000 effective August 8, 2022 contingent upon resignation of her seat on Borough Council.
    2. Motion to award the contract for newsletter printing to Hometown Press, Perkasie PA, at a cost of approximately $700/publication which covers the cost of postage.
    3. Motion to approve a request from Daniel T. and Michelle Piscioneri for waiver of tax penalties and interest only totaling $73.76 due for property on Orchard Drive as the real estate tax bill was inadvertently mailed to an incorrect address.
  1. Community Development/Parks & Recreation
    1. Motion to approve a vision statement and guidelines for the Shade Tree Commission.
    2. Motion to approve a contract with IntelliSite for the following improvements in 2022 in the Borough’s parks system paid for through the ARPA Fund:
      1. WiFi (Maple, Memorial, Negley Parks)................................................ $18,228.00
      2. Smart Cameras (Maple, Memorial, Negley Parks, Ft. Couch)................ $17,625.00
  1. Sewer
    1. Motion to grant a request submitted by Daniel Kieffer to allow a one-year extension to complete work to separate sewer laterals at 921 Walnut Street.
  1. Stormwater
    1. Motion to approve Payment Application #1 dated June 30, 2022 in the amount of $11,700 payable to Mid-State Paving, LLC, Middleburg PA, for the Warren Street ADA and Storm Sewer Improvement Project.
  1. Streets
    1. Motion to approve Payment Application #3 (FINAL) dated July 18, 2022 in the amount of $3,003.60 payable to Pro’s Concrete, Shippensburg PA, for the Walton Street Curb and Sidewalk Improvement Project (homeowners).
    2. Motion to approve a request from Stephanie Harper for waiver of the restrictions under Ordinance 525-50 to allow installation of a handicapped parking space at 427 Herman Avenue.
    3. Motion to authorize execution of the 2022-2023 Municipal Winter Agreement with Penn DOT for snow removal operations on Market Street. 
  1. Zoning & Ordinance
    1. Motion to authorize advertisement of the following ordinances:
      1. Proposed amendments to Chapter 460, Stormwater ensure compliance with Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) requirements
      2. Proposed amendment to Chapter 525, Vehicles and Traffic, Article II, Traffic Regulations. establishing the following one-way streets:
        1. Fort Street, Southbound from Washington Terrace to Mulberry Street
        2. Eighth Street, Southbound from Pear Street to Bosler Street
      3. Proposed amendment to Chapter 525, Vehicles and Traffic, Article III, Parking Regulations, restricting parking on the north side of Walnut Street eastward between Seventh Street and 527 Walnut Street, Monday through Friday between 7:00—9:00 a.m. and 2:00—4:00 p.m.
      4. Proposed amendment to Chapter 550, Zoning, establishing general and specific standards relating to wireless communications facilities.
